What is concierge primary care?

Concierge primary care is a membership-based model where you pay a quarterly or annual fee directly to your provider in exchange for longer appointments, same- or next-day visits, and a more personal relationship with your care team. We keep the number of patients we care for small on purpose, so every patient gets unhurried, personalized care.

Do you accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

No. We are a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance for visits, memberships, or in-clinic services. You can still use your insurance for outside specialists, imaging, hospitalizations, and prescriptions filled at outside pharmacies. Insurance can also be used for labs drawn at the clinic, which are processed through Labcorp or Quest, or you can pay affordable cash rates. We are happy to provide a superbill on request for any out-of-network reimbursement your insurer may offer.

How do I become a patient?

Reach out through the contact page or text the clinic at (850) 270-7227. We'll schedule a brief intake call to set up your chart in our patient portal and book your first visit. New medical members typically start with a 30–60 minute comprehensive visit.

Do you offer telehealth?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many follow-ups, urgent visits for established patients, and peptide or weight loss check-ins can be done by telehealth when clinically appropriate. Visits such as procedures, exams, in-clinic labs, IV therapy, and aesthetics require coming in to the Tallahassee clinic. We are also launching mobile IV therapy locally.

How do I access the patient portal?

Existing patients access their chart through the patient portal at tadportal.md-hq.com. We send your invite once you're set up.

What if I have a true emergency?

Accepted Answer

Our concierge clinic is not equipped to handle life-threatening emergencies such as chest pain, stroke symptoms, or broken bones. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

How soon will you respond to my message?

Accepted Answer

We respond to most calls, texts, emails, and patient portal messages within 24 hours on business days (Monday–Friday). Because the clinic is closed on weekends and holidays, a message sent on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday is answered the next business day — so a Friday-evening message is typically answered Monday. What memberships do you offer?

We offer two memberships. The Medical Membership is for patients using wellness, longevity, metabolic, or medically guided services. It includes a monthly 30-minute clinic credit that rolls forward so you can use it when you need it, quarterly InBody scans, RN/MA support, in-office lab draws, streamlined refills and referrals, plus 15% off supplements, IV therapy, and peptides. The annual women's well exam is billed separately and is not included. The Aesthetic Membership includes a quarterly treatment credit plus 15% off toxins, microneedling, fillers, peels, and SkinCeuticals retail. See the memberships page for current pricing.

Can I enroll in both memberships?

Yes. If you use both medical and aesthetic services regularly, you can enroll in both the Medical Membership and the Aesthetic Membership.

Is membership required to be seen?

Accepted Answer

Membership is the way most of our patients work with the practice, and it unlocks the best pricing and access. We do see select patients on a per-visit basis for aesthetics and a few standalone services. Reach out to the clinic at (850) 270-7227 to ask about your situation.

Who is a candidate for our medically managed weight loss program?

Accepted Answer

Candidacy is based on your BMI, health history, and lab work, after provider review. Medications may be prescribed when clinically appropriate. Patients with a history of pancreatitis, medullary thyroid cancer, or MEN 2 are not candidates.

What does a weight loss program look like here?

Accepted Answer

Care includes an initial workup with labs and an InBody body-composition scan, a tailored protocol, weekly or monthly check-ins, and ongoing support around nutrition, exercise, and daily habits. We adjust medications based on your response and any side effects. This is not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

What are the common side effects?

Accepted Answer

The most common side effects are nausea, constipation, diarrhea, and reflux. These are more common during the first few weeks or after a dose change, and usually improve as your body adjusts. We start low and progress slowly to keep side effects manageable.

What are peptides?

Accepted Answer

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. We advise on medical-grade peptide programs tailored to your goals and health history. Some popular peptides include BPC-157, TB-500, Sermorelin/Ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, and Thymosin Alpha-1. Peptide therapy is not for everyone; we evaluate your labs and history first.

How long until I notice results from peptides?

Most patients start noticing changes in 2–6 weeks, depending on the peptide and how consistently it's used. Sleep, energy, and recovery often improve first. Skin, hair, and body composition changes are longer-term and become apparent after consistent use.

What aesthetic services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer neurotoxins such as Botox, Jeuveau, and Letybo, along with lip filler, microneedling with or without PRP, SkinCeuticals chemical peels, and consults to find your best SkinCeuticals regimen. Aesthetic Membership patients receive a quarterly treatment credit and 15% off toxins, microneedling, fillers, peels, and retail.

How should I prepare for Botox or filler?

Accepted Answer

Avoid NSAIDs, aspirin, fish oil, and other blood thinners for 3–5 days (unless prescribed), skip alcohol for 24 hours, and pause retinol for 2 days before and after tox. Eat a meal beforehand. We have detailed before-and-after guides for both neurotoxins and lip filler on our blog.

Can I combine aesthetic treatments with peptides or weight loss?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, yes. Peptides and weight loss medications work from the inside while aesthetics work on the surface. Your care team will sequence treatments around appointments, healing windows, and any procedures or vaccinations you have coming up.

Do you offer gift cards or payment plans?

Yes. Digital gift cards are available for any amount through our gift card page or by contacting the clinic. We also offer payment plans for select services through Cherry; see our payment plans page for details.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Memberships, treatment credits, retail products, and gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. Unused treatment credits roll forward within an active membership and reset 12 months after purchase. If you have a concern about a specific charge, please contact the clinic and we'll work with you directly.

Do you offer GeneSight pharmacogenomic testing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. GeneSight is a saliva-based pharmacogenomic test that helps show how your genes may affect your response to common psychiatric medications. We collect the swab in clinic and order the test, and GeneSight provides your results to review with your psychiatric provider.
